Best I can say is I have a friend currently teaching in Taiwan, which you'll be closer to than I am while you're there. Hmm..things you could/should do: - Buy Em a proper japanese schoolgirl outfit - YOW! - See if you can find the missing links between Marshall stacks and the Marshall Plan - Alternate between wearing a US flag/patch and a Canadian flag/patch on your jacket and see how the treatment differs. - Manga..mangamangamanga!! If you come back with less than 20lbs of hentai manga/anime, you've wasted yer trip. MMmmm..tentacle sex... - Get a Hello Kitty tattoo somewhere horrible. - eat sushi the way god and emperors dead MEANT it to taste - bring yer harp and try busking on a busy street just to say you busked Tonkyo (gotta be some cachet there) - Time to get some new Ono-Sendai eyes ..and above all else : enjoy the sensation of being TALL!
