There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio

I’m busy. I’m tired. It’s one of those nights when I’m up late, with a ton of work/personal stuff to do, and I really shouldn’t even be taking this quick break to post to my blog, BUT… I can’t go on another minute without urging everyone in the entire world (um, starting with the two or three people who sometimes read this blog) to go watch this YouTube video. You want cheese? You want an utterly unwatchable, hideously formulaic television show? You want a fistful of the cheesiest, most formulaic moments from that show, jammed together into one insane symphony of cheesy hack writing/acting/directing? Then go and watch. But, you must swear never to speak of this that you have seen. Swear by my sword! :)

Quick updates, before I forget:
1. The Chantey Sing aboard Balclutha was HUGE fun. It’s great that you can live in San Francisco for nearly 10 years, and yet still keep discovering things this cool. Or else it means we don’t get out enough. :)
We sang Barret’s Privateers, which I haven’t done since I don’t know when, and that’s a blast. My singing (if I can call it that) hurts people, it’s true, but as one of only two Canadians I knew to be present, I felt I just had to represent. Em and I really wished Arnon had been there - dude woulda been in his ZONE, yo.
2. We haven’t had too many celebrity sightings since moving out to San Francisco - it’s not Los Angeles, people. But last night at Buena Vista, we saw Pat Sajak out drinking with his peeps. Now that I’ve seen both Bob Barker and Pat Sajak in person, I guess I only need to shake hands with Regis for the trifecta. I’ll keep y’all posted.

Rufus Wainwright at the Masonic

About to catch my hometown boy Rufus. A Fine Frenzy opened, and was good. Sean Lennon was better than expected, and funny, too - he quoted Real Genius. Say it wth me: It was hot, and I was hungry.
